I first started making beats in January of 2008. I'm the sound engineer behind Dark Light, who mixes and masters the songs. Nonetheless, I do participate a great deal during the creative conceptual process. I also produce independent singles. My inspirations derive from my rich background in World music; I'm Algerian and have lived in Algeria, Morocco, Kenya and Canada, where I currently am (Montreal!!). I have always had an ear for music, harmonies and am intrigued by the life inside each instrument. In Dark Light, I am involved in the melodic process of each song's creation.
